Technical admission

• Successful applicant for Department test needs “Examination application”.
• Age 18 or older (Type 1, 2 normal, small) / Age 19 or older (HGV) / Based on the date of birth in the resident registration
• License cancellers and licensees possessor - technical test (Type 1 and 2), HGV is the same
  (However, licensees possessor (Type 2 → Type 1) are exempt from technical test)

Aptitude test

• Supplies - ID card (recognition range of identification), examination fee, 3 photos for passport, application form for driver's license test
• Aptitude test - Designated hospitals and license test centers

Academic test

• Written test application - Aptitude test certificate (application form), ID card (recognition range of identification), and examination fee
• Test method - 40 questions of 5 types
• Test Contents - Act on Automobile and Road Traffic, Structure and Handling of Automobile
• Supplies – Application form, ID card (recognition range of identification)

Academic education

• Compulsory education for 3 hours before the Academic examination
• Type 1 HGV test needs 3 hours of academic education necessary (License cancellers must have 6 hours of special safety education)
• Training completion
• Those who do not pass the written test can receive the in-house functional education, but they can receive functional education after passing the written test before the end of the in-house functional education.

• Effective period of education - 3 months from the date of commencement of education
